Gosu Pepper: 'I'm gonna be playing LCS next split/season'
GosuPepper, also known as Edward, announced that he will be playing in the LCS in the 2016 spring split.
He made his intentions to remain in the professional scene known in a Tweet and Facebook post on Thursday.
Gosu Pepper spent the last split playing support for Gambit Gaming. He had been with the team since it was the most dominant in the European scene in Season 2 — known in those days as Moscow 5.
Despite a late surge into the playoffs in the spring, Gambit had an underwhelming summer split, avoiding relegation by defeating mousesports in the 2016 EU LCS spring promotion tournament.
He finished the regular summer split with a 1.9 KDA. Though his most played champion in the summer was Alistar, he is most known for his Thresh play, earning him the nickname "The Thresh Prince."
Gosu Pepper announced his free agency on Nov. 13. It is not yet clear which team he will play for in the new year.
