Huni and Reignover leave Fnatic

Huni and Reignover leave Fnatic
Seung-hoon "Huni" Heo and Yeu-jin "Reignover" Kim have decided to leave Fnatic, the organization announced Monday.
Huni and Reignover joined Fnatic at the beginning of 2015 when the organization formed their roster for the Spring Split. While with the team, they helped Fnatic to an undefeated 18-win streak in the Summer Split, first place in the Summer playoffs, and 3-4th at Worlds this year.
"It’s obviously a great challenge to replace talented players and amazing personalities like Huni and ReignOver, but at the same time it’s a challenge that we must be able to face as a world-class team," Fnatic CGO Patrik "cArn" Sattermon in a press release.
"I would like to use this moment to sincerely thank Seongheo and Yeujin for their dedication, friendship and awesomeness. We will surely miss you being around but at the same time we are wishing you the best of luck in your future careers, and we hope to soon meet you on the other side of the Rift!"
According to Fnatic's press release, the organization made an offer to both players for them to stay with the team in 2016, but negotiations did not pan out.
"Whilst we made offers for Huni and Reignover to remain with Fnatic in 2016," they stated in the press release. "And even upped our offers after negotiation, the final amount needed to secure them would have been an order of magnitude higher than what we were prepared to pay, to keep them in orange and black."
In Reignover's statement, he said that he won't be playing in the European LCS next split, but he has learned a lot from his time with Fnatic.
"By playing in Fnatic, I’ve learned so much inside and outside of game," he said. The people that I've met from Fnatic were all full of passion and positive emotion, that it affected me so much even as a person.
"I think I was extremely lucky that I got to play at Fnatic. If I was not at Fnatic, I think I would not have improved so fast and would not have gone this far so fast. "
Huni also stated that he'll be playing in another region next year.
"I would like to say thanks for all the support in 2015. It was great for me, even as a first time pro-player you guys were really, really nice," he said. "I hope you guys still support me even though I will go to another region as I want to try a new experience as a player. "
