Team Vitality purchases Gambit Gaming's LCS spot, kaSing to play support
Team Vitality has announced their acquisition of an EU LCS spot for the 2016 Spring Split. Gambit Gaming has confirmed that their spot was the one that Vitality bought.
The new team's full roster has not yet been announced, but a statement from the organization promised it would "be unveiling the names of these personalities in the coming days."
The first player to be revealed is support Raymond "kaSing" Tsang, who helped H2K to a third-place finish in the Summer 2015 EU LCS playoffs and went with the team to the World Championships this year. He joins the new team after a brief stint with TSM at IEM San Jose.
This is the French eSports organization's first foray into PC gaming. They currently have console-based teams for Call of Duty, FIFA 16 and Rainbow Six: Siege.
In their announcement, Gambit confirmed that the team's remaining roster, including their coach and manager, have been released.
Gambit has been a part of the EU LCS since its inception. They came second in the Spring 2013 LCS Playoffs and attended the Season 3 World Championships in 2013. Since then, they have had largely mixed results.
