GoDJJ and Ysera join LSPL team Legend Dragon
Legend Dragon announced on weibo that Wang "GoDJJ" Yong Jie, formerly of Hong Kong Esports, and Wang "Ysera" Tsung Chih, formerly of the Logitech G Snipers, will join their team for the coming season.
Both GoDJJ and Ysera played in the Taiwanese, Hong Kong, and Macau region League of Legends Master Series in 2015. GoDJJ has a long career as an AD Carry, extending back to Season 2, and is perhaps best known for having played with Chen "MiSTakE" Hui Chung on Taipei Assassins' sister team, Taipei Snipers.
After MiSTakE retired, the Snipers were acquired by ahq, and GoDJJ eventually left to join Hong Kong Esports, where he played alongside Lau "Toyz" Wai Kin before being replaced by Korean AD Carry, Jeong "Raison" Soobin.
Ysera spent a year playing for ahq's sister team, ahq Fighter, before it became Logitech G Fighter and then Logitech G Snipers. The Snipers did not perform well in LMS this year, placing fifth in the spring season and last in the summer season.
Legend Dragon is no stranger to LMS-eligible players. Their current roster includes top laner Kan "Kabe" Ho Man, formerly of HK Attitude and EBD Legends, and mid laner Lo "PaSa" Hung Sing, formerly of HK Attitude and HK Attitude Mage, both from Hong Kong. Only jungler Liang "Feng" Jian is originally from the Chinese mainland.
The new Taiwanese bottom lane replaces the Korean AD Carry and support duo, Long "Vipery" Taeyeong and Hong "Mirage" Jaehui after they left the team, along with Hong Kong jungler, Fan "Avoidless" Jun Wei, in September. Legend Dragon has narrowly missed qualifying for LPL the past two splits, making LSPL playoffs both times and competing in the promotion in Spring.
