MaRin, Easyhoon and T0M leave SK Telecom T1
Top laner Jang "MaRin" Gyeong-hwan, substitute mid laner Lee "Easyhoon" Ji-hoon and substitute jungler Im "T0M" Jae-hyeon have all left SK Telecom T1, the organization announced on Wednesday.
The move was first speculated on Korean news website Daily eSports, and shortly following the post SK Telecom T1 took to Twitter to confirm that MaRin, Easyhoon and T0M had all in fact left the team.
SK Telecom T1 is coming off winning their second World Championship title, which they claimed with a 3-1 victory over the KOO Tigers on Oct. 31.
MaRin, who won the World Championship MVP Award, finished the event with a 4.4 KDA and whose play on champions such as Fiora, Rumble and Renekton was instrumental to SK Telecom T1's victory.
Easyhoon, who has been a long-time backup for Faker, is considered by many to be a top mid laner in the world despite being a substitute. Known primarily for his play on mages such as Azir, Easyhoon started 12 games in the SBENU Champions Summer 2015 season, closing out the year with a 4.25 KDA.
Talented rookie T0M did not play with the team for the World Championship, but did start a handful of games during the summer season. Known for his aggressive play and niche Udyr pick, T0M went 6-0 over the summer and finished with a 3.71 KDA.
With significant opening on teams in every major region across the world, there will certainly be no shortage of offers for the talented trio in the near future.
