PentaQ and City join Master3
Master3 have signed AD Carry Xu "PentaQ" Mingshu and a support solo queue player who will go by the in-game name City in time for the National Electronic Sports Tournament on Nov. 27, the team announced Tuesday.
PentaQ played AD carry for WE's LSPL team, WE Future, last season. He is also known for having graduated WE's League of Legends training program, where he became the only player from the program to sign with a team immediately. There has been buzz about when he might join the LPL given his strong performances last year.
Master3's second acquisition is a player straight from solo queue with the ID "青丝若为霜." He will be known in-game as "City" and will make his competitive debut in Master3's game against Snake this weekend.
In the LPL Summer Season, Master3's bottom lane of Han "Smlz" Jin and Li "LoveCD" Junfeng was known as one of the worst performing duos in the LPL. Towards the end of the season, LoveCD was replaced by top and jungle main, Tengyang "Ruo" TianXia to little effect.
PentaQ and City will join the team's existing top, jungle, and mid players, Jang "looper" Hyeongseok, Xiang "Condi" Renjie, and Bae "dade" Eojin, for the NEST games this weekend.
