H2K announce IEM Cologne roster

H2K Gaming will debut a new roster at Intel Extreme Masters Cologne. The team gave no indication as to whether this roster would remain with H2K for LCS Spring, but it is suspected that it is at least similar to what fans can expect from them in 2016.

It is as follows:

Top: Andrie "Odoamne" Pascu
Jungle: Marcin "Jankos" Jankowski
Mid: Yoo "Ryu" Sangook
ADC: Konstantinos "FORG1VEN" Tzortziou
Support: Oskar "VandeR" Bogdan

H2K retained their talented solo laners for 2016. Odoamne was known for his strong Teleport plays and team fighting, and Ryu defined their pick compositions with his assassin-based champion pool.

New additions include the ex-ROCCAT jungle and support duo of Jankos and VandeR. They've been the core of ROCCAT for two seasons and complement H2K's solo laners well with their ability to create opportunities.

As if that weren't enough, FORG1VEN will be the final player to join the team for Cologne. The AD carry has received high praise for his laning phase in particular. H2K marks FORG1VEN's fourth LCS team, and the 2015 Spring LCS MVP may have the biggest names built around him yet.

This offseason did not begin well for H2K. Neil "PR0LLY" Hammad and Raymond "kaSing" Tsang announced their free agency early on, and a dispute between H2K and Team SoloMid over Dennis "Svenskeren" Johnsen.

Though TSM ultimately signed Svenskeren, H2K were allegedly prepared to offer him a reasonably high salary. This allowed them to funnel additional resources into regrouping and securing other established players for IEM Cologne.

H2K also thanked fans for voting them into IEM Cologne and hope to make them proud at the event next week.
